Dr. N. Vanitha Rani, M.Pharm., Ph.D. is an accomplished academician and researcher in the field of Pharmacy Practice with over 15 years of teaching and research experience. She has served as Lecturer and Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Sri Ramachandra University and has made significant contributions to clinical pharmacy, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacovigilance, medication safety, and patient counseling.

Dr. Vanitha Rani completed her B.Pharm from Madras Medical College, M.Pharm (Pharmacy Practice), and Ph.D. from Sri Ramachandra University. She has guided numerous undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and has published more than 30 research articles in national and international journals.

Her research focuses on medication adherence, clinical outcomes, pharmacoeconomics, chronic disease management, and pharmaceutical care. She has presented research at national and international conferences and received awards for outstanding research contributions. Dr. Vanitha Rani is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the Association of Pharmacy Teachers of India and the Indian Pharmaceutical Association.

She remains committed to advancing pharmacy education, clinical research, and patient-centered healthcare through teaching, mentorship, and scholarly activities.

Mr. Memon is Director, Global Pharmacovigilance Operations & Strategy at Ascendis Pharma, where he holds enterprise accountability for safety strategy, benefit-risk oversight, signal detection, aggregate reporting, and regulatory compliance across an oncology and endocrinology portfolio spanning 35+ countries.

With over 16 years of progressive global pharmacovigilance experience, he has led safety functions across both clinical-stage and commercial pharmaceutical settings. Earlier in his career he built the pharmacovigilance function from inception at Athenex through US NDA and EMA MAA submissions, directly leading an internal global team across the United States, Argentina, and Taiwan. He carries a clean regulatory inspection record across the FDA, EMA, DKMA, and MHRA.

His areas of expertise include ICSR lifecycle management, signal detection and risk management (RMP/REMS), aggregate safety reporting (PBRER, PADER, DSUR, PSUR), Argus Safety database design and upgrade, submission rule automation, and the application of AI-enabled tooling to strengthen submission integrity, signal management, and quality oversight. He has designed and built internal pharmacovigilance decision and quality-control tools encoding global submission rules across 35+ countries, used to independently validate Argus-generated reports and trend vendor case-review quality.

Mr. Memon holds a Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS) from Smt. C.M.P. Homoeopathic Medical College, Mumbai, an MBA in Strategic Management from Pace University, New York, an MBA in Healthcare Management from Goldey-Beacom College, Delaware, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Research from the Institute of Clinical Research India, Mumbai.

He has been associated with Texila International Journal of Clinical Research as an Editorial Board Member and Peer Reviewer since 2018, and also serves on the editorial board of Acta Scientific Medical Sciences.
