Dr.Jinu k rajan is Associate Professor of Nursing in the Department of applied medical sciences at the majmaah University KSA. Dr Jinu serves as the MSN and BSN Program coordinator and the head of community health nursing department, a community outreach initiative focusing on health, social and cultural advocacy. Before working with Majmaah University, Dr Jinu served in various positions such as nursing tutor, lecturer, assistant/associate professor, professor cum principal in nursing colleges. Dr Jinu is serving as online faculty with Texilla American University since February, 2013 under various positions such as Academic Head for nursing, peer reviewer, subject matter expert, evaluator for BSN, MSN programs. Dr Jinu has a Post Doctorate from the Victoria global University, Turks & Caicos, Doctorate and Master’s Degrees in Nursing from Kerala University, Kerala, India and baccalaureate in nursing from Mahatma Gandhi University, kottayam, Kerala, India. Also he holds a degree in MBA, various Advanced, Post Graduate Diploma’s and Diploma in hospital administration, business administration, health informatics, nursing administration, public health administration and currently pursuing post graduate diplomas in human rights.

Research Interest

Dr Jinu conducts seminars on topics as varied as family and community emergency preparedness, cultural humility in community health nursing and mental health and substance abuse treatment for healthcare professionals. Research Interests include  Fostering creativity in graduate-level nursing education through innovative pedagogy.  Forum Theater as a creative teaching modality in graduate-level nursing education. 3.) Empowering homeless populations through evidence-based practice using Cognitive Behavioral & Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapies.  Participatory action research with service learning, social justice & advocacy Projects.  Historical overview of technological advancements in nursing practice. She teaches courses about nursing theory, innovative teaching strategies in nursing education, curriculum development for nurse educators, and community health nursing.  The work life of nurses
